About Todd Trigsted
Todd Trigsted :: Photographer :: Filmmaker
Todd Trigsted is a photographer, video journalist and documentary filmmaker. He earned a B.F.A. (drawing and sculpture) and a master’s in technical communication (non-linear interactive media storytelling). His career began in Butte, Montana while working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Montana DEQ and Department of Justice. For ten years he photographed and video documented environmental damages caused by 100 years of hardrock mining and the subsequent cleanup methods required to rebuild the contaminated 120-mile long riparian landscape between Butte and Missoula, MT. As a video journalist with the American Legion, he regularly produces short-length documentary videos about the challenges veterans face when transitioning from war to civilian life. Stradling the fence as a communication specialist and fine artist, Todd has exhibited his work internationally at technical conferences and art galleries in Japan, Cuba, Los Angeles and other U.S. cities. His photography has also been published in many U.S. magazines and textbooks.
